Day Two: Camping in the Berkshires with Bram's Poughkeepsie Pals

On the next day we entered the Berkshires of Mass
(There was one long hill early on testing our gas)
And we settle in Lee, to await promised lodging
From Queenie and Paul (through some time-share rule dodging).

As it was, they rolled in on the family bus
And announced that this evening they're camping with us
So we found a field site were a black bear was scouting
And determined the spot well-designed for our outing.

Tents pitched, plus a swim, we approached the eve's plan:
To cook dinner with only one pot and one pan.
Bram's one-match scout fire cooked the meats and the fowl,
while Paul's stove cooked the object of Queen's pictured scowl.

The camp citronella just tempted the skeeters
That threatened to suck out our blood by the liters
To escape (and make friends), we joined the Todd at his site
Where he built a huge bonfire with all of his might,

Chugging brewskis and shouting, at top of his voice
"Whazzup!" to the neighbors, who'd camped here by choice
Seeking quiet and peace in this mountainside Heaven.
(To his credit, Todd quieted down by eleven)

In this frame, Bram's right ear is BJ's fond desire; While above us, Bram dries out his shorts on the fire.

Day Three: A visit to Lenox,  to Kimball Farms and Bram's aunt and uncle Ruthie and Ben

Here's Aunt Ruthie, who's posing by trailer for show
(We had eaten a feast, and were raring to go).
So we biked up a mountain, and back to the bounty
of green rolling hills in Columbia County.
